Disposable Desiccant Breather
The original Des-Case disposable breather. Des-Case breathers proactively prevent ingression of water and particulate contamination through the breather vent by combining the use of two well-known technologies: filtration and desiccant (drying media). The 3-micron filter element prevents particulate entry and the desiccant creates relative humidity levels in the headspace which make condensation unlikely. See Figure 1.

Hydroguard™
Hydroguard™: Next generation membrane technology breathers. There is a new field-tested technology available that incorporates the best attributes of the desiccant filter/breather and the expansion chamber. This new product, Hydroguard™ by Des-Case employs state of the art desiccant filter/breather technology with a unique expansion chamber. See Figure 2.
